At Turnersee, guests swim with a panoramic view of the Karawanken mountains...The Turnersee, considered a natural bathing paradise and also a Natura 2000 protected area, has been valued by guests for decades precisely because of its originality. The municipal lido is located north of the lake and features a 1000 m² sunbathing lawn with naturally shaded areas, a spacious playground, and a sunny terrace with a fantastic view of the Hochobir and the Petzen. Like Lake Klopein, Turnersee is one of the warmest bathing lakes in Europe and reaches a water temperature of up to 28 degrees Celsius in summer. With a total area of 44.2 hectares, the idyllically situated bathing lake with drinking water quality primarily attracts guests seeking peace and relaxation.
