The Strandbad Mattsee, with its lake of drinking water quality, is very popular among locals and tourists after several expansions. It is appreciated not only for its extensive sunbathing areas, the 400-meter-long lake shore, and the adventure slide, but also for its exemplary architectural design. It is one of the most beautiful beaches in Austria. The large lounging and play area, 400 meters of shallow beach, the 80-meter adventure slide, Saturn, Eisberg, and a new trampoline guarantee perfect swimming fun! There is a baby pool, table tennis, and four stunning beach volleyball courts right on the beach. Parking is fee-based (parking meter), with free parking available at the Nord parking lot. Open (weather-dependent): pre-season: May - June from 9 am to 6 pm (evening rate from 5 pm), pre-season weekends: 9 am to 7 pm (evening rate from 6 pm), main season: July and August from 8 am to 7 pm (evening rate from 6 pm).
