Stoober Töpferstadl

Stoob, Burgenland

ausstellung

Here you are greeted by Mr. Günther Hoffmann, the master ceramist and museum director of the nearby Stoob Pottery Museum. "I learned pottery at the well-known company Larnhof in Stoob. Afterwards, I worked for years at Gitta Keramik in Markt St. Martin. As the only potter in the company, the ceramics bore my own signature. After my boss retired, I became self-employed and returned to my home community with my Stoober Töpferstadl. Inspired by many trips abroad (Australia, America, Spain, ...), I create vessels in old style and new splendor. Each piece is lovingly handcrafted, making it unique." - Günther Hoffmann If you are already in Stoob, you must visit the Stoob Pottery Museum. This documents the centuries-old craft tradition that is still maintained in the small central Burgenland community today. Museum admission prices: Admission is free for individual visitors. Guided tours are possible for groups (10 people or more) all year round. Price per person: € 3,- During group tours, the creation of the goods can be admired and purchased on site. For further inquiries, please contact Mr. Günther Hoffmann, Tel. +43 650 9750678, office@toepferstadl.at. Further information can also be found at http://toepfermuseum.at/besucherinfos/.
