The late Gothic building period began in the 15th century, attested by an indulgence granted by Pope Martin V in 1426. In 1464, the Gothic vaulting of the Romanesque church was completed and extended by two Gothic bays. During this time, the current tower was also finished and equipped with bells (donated by Friedrich II). The peak of the Gothic building period concluded in 1498 with the choir, the star vault, and the incorporation of the Lady Chapel and a new sacristy above the former charnel house. Below the Lady Chapel, the All Souls' Chapel is still preserved with an altar mensa built of bricks. The new sacristy added to the east in 1804 and 1853 unfortunately obscures the late Gothic central window, which is still completely preserved.Baroque altar - St. Anne's Altar: donated as a plague or Leopold altar by Anton v. Crollolanza in 1726.Rieger organ: new organ from 1983.Classicist pulpit: by Fotschegger from 1782.Baptistery: added in 1735, in front of the altar with Baroque statues stands a Neo-Gothic baptismal font.Sacrament house: from 1523, carved from red Salzburg marble, 10 m high.St. Florian's Altar: from 1801 with the old townscape of Bad Aussee.Lady Chapel: there, within the delicate Baroque altar, stands the "Beautiful Madonna" from the first quarter of the 15th century - related to the Krumau Madonna and the Hallstatt Madonna.
