The documents in the Schärding City Archives include charters starting from the year 1316, church books, official books of ecclesiastical provenance, municipal files, photographic materials, valuable manuscripts from the 19th century, citizen and house registers, as well as maps, plans, and posters.Old wooden stairs and narrow staircases lead up to the City Archives, which are located on the upper floor of the Linzer Tor.
