Spieldorfer Kapelle

It was consecrated on May 3, 1937, by Dean P. Felix Wieser. The east gable bears a small turret with a cross and two small bells. Two narrow windows in Gothic pointed form provide lighting for this chapel. At the upper edge of the entrance door, we find two reverse glass paintings depicting Mary Magdalene and Francis de Sales. Inside the chapel is a small, attached, protruding altar. Above it is a grotto with the statue of Mary of Lourdes with the following inscription: 'Under your protection and shelter we flee, O immaculate conceived one'. Next to it, we also see statues of the Sacred Heart of Jesus and St. Joseph. Small Stations of the Cross pictures on the side walls and a large cross with corpus on the back complete the interior design of this chapel. A renovation inside and out, as well as the renewal of the roof and the tower, was necessary in 1980.
