Skulpturen von Alois Lindenbauer

Lindenbauer, who attended the Federal School for Wood and Stone Sculpture in Hallstatt, collaborated with the Italian architect Lucio de Paulis. Since 1999, he has been a member of the MAERZ artists' association and also belongs to the Professional Association of Visual Artists of Upper Austria and the Amstetten Art Association. In addition to the state scholarship and working scholarship from the Federal Ministry for Education and Art, Alois Lindenbauer has also received numerous promotional awards. In his works, everything is in slow, gentle motion. It seeps and drips, hollows out, changes. Mostly the material is wood, but he also works with stone, which he subjects to changes with liquids - as carefully as radically. "Alpin" with its horizons, intersecting directions, and sudden verticals is close to geological/tectonic movements and landscapes.
