The crystal-clear water of the Durlassboden reservoir warms up to a pleasant 21°C during the summer months, making Gerlos a true summer highlight! Whether surfing or simply relaxing while splashing, swimming, kayaking, or pedal boating – all of this is possible! Relaxation can also be found on the lawn area by the lake. At the Durlassboden reservoir, Austria's highest surf school is located at 1,400 meters above sea level. The boat dock is situated directly on the dam crest of the reservoir near the restaurant "Seestüberl." A special hiking tip: the circular hike around the reservoir with stops at Gasthof Finkau, Bärschlagalm, and Seestüberl on the dam crest.
