Butterfly Educational Trail: Dear guest, start on foot for the butterfly hike at Moakirchwegl from the town center of Uttendorf. The first information board hangs on the house wall of Stefflbauern. You cross the exposed dry slope with its heat-loving plants and insect world. The path leads over wooden stairs to the shady Steinergraben, where seating invites you to rest. The unspoiled village stream encourages your children to refreshing water play. Passing by a marshy alder grove with delicate mosses and ferns, the path leads to the boulders. The final section is characterized by forest edge, meadows, and an old orchard. In the entrance hall of the inn, typical day- and night-flying butterflies are exhibited. There are scenic options for the return to the village. The starting point is the village center, and after 1.5 hours you reach the destination - the Alpengasthof Liebenberg. The elevation change is 300 meters.
