Schloss Mühlgrub

The multi-towered castle was built around 1600. The original farm "Grub" belonged to Kremsmünster Abbey in 1299. In 1415, the Mühlwagner family bought it, and from then on it was called "Mühlgrub". In 1891, Hans Hager founded a brewery, which was continued by the Fein family. In the 1970s, the world's largest bottle filling plant for "Schartner Bombe" was built. Since 2001, the castle has been open to the public through the operation of a sales exhibition for garden accessories.
