Schloss Feyregg

Otto Sunn is mentioned as the first owner in 1170. The castle is a two- to three-story hook-shaped building with three square towers. The courtyard is a lawn traversed by gravel paths and is enclosed on the two undeveloped sides by a high wall. The residential wing consists of the old palas of Feyregg Castle and the baroque extension between the palas, old tower, and stair tower. The owner's living quarters are located here. On the ground floor are guest rooms, including the so-called President's Room, where Federal President Karl Renner stayed when he was taking a cure in Bad Hall. On the upper floor are further living and state rooms with stucco ceilings. One hall is equipped with a carved strapwork ceiling and a multi-flame lead crystal chandelier.
