Salzgrotte Wulkatal

The Salzgrotte Wulkatal in Stöttera (Mattersburg district) is an oasis of well-being that has been delighting those seeking relaxation with its unique atmosphere and health-promoting effects since its opening in November 2020. The salt cave is equipped with real salt rocks, salt bricks, and salt grains, allowing visitors to breathe in salty, ecologically pure air – comparable to a stay by the sea. With the very first breath, guests feel the beneficial effect on their respiratory system and general well-being.Sessions in the salt cave last 50 minutes, while the inhalation room can be used for 20-minute applications. The pleasant room temperature is between 18 and 21 degrees Celsius, and the humidity is 45 to 60%. It is particularly noteworthy that the salt cave is suitable for all age groups – from babies to seniors.In addition to the salt cave, the area also offers a farm shop with products made from alpaca wool, as well as an inhalation room for children, where they can inhale salt particles while playing. For the youngest visitors, special children's sessions are offered upon request.
