Ruine Thurnschall Lessach

In 1239, the Thurnschall Castle in the municipality of Lessach was mentioned in historical records for the first time. Today, only the remains of the west tower, which is 8 meters high, are still present. According to local folklore, the Thurnschallweibl, a bewitched maiden of knightly origin, lives in the castle ruins and is cursed to guard a treasure.
