Catch restrictions - minimum lengths Coarse fish - Not larger than hook size 2 (barbless hooks) Game fish - Sturgeon, Black Amur, Tench, Black Bass. Passage through the campsite is possible up to half an hour after fishing ends. Fishing times: November 8 AM—5 PM, March/October 8 AM—6 PM, April/September 8 AM—7:30 PM, May 8 AM—8:30 PM, June/July/August 8 AM—9:30 PM. General driving ban from 10 PM—8 AM. Binding regulations for fishing in Röcksee: ● Fishing is not permitted without a BH or state license. ● Fishing location: Only in the 2nd lake. All fishing activities are strictly prohibited in the protected area. Pellets, junk, and oil cakes are forbidden. No fatty feed. ● When fishing, a so-called unhooking mat (Carp Cradle (tub) from 120 cm must be used (the mat must be wet; keep a bucket of water ready to wet the fish) as well as a sufficiently large landing net (from 90 cm hoop length) with a fine-mesh net (to avoid injuring the caught fish). ● What else do I need for fishing? Barbless hooks, hook remover, scales, unhooking mat, weighing sling for weighing, landing net from 90 cm hoop length, bucket. Fireline and braided line are forbidden, only monofilament line (35 line, not less) may be used. ● When using a boat, only drive in straight lines; there are tree stumps and roots next to the island, keep at least 6 m distance. ● Photos may not be taken standing, but only kneeling close to the ground (to protect the fish from harm). Do not forget clinic for disinfection. Important information Please note that dogs must be on a leash at the lake, and there is a swimming ban for dogs in both lakes.
