The Röcksee is a holiday destination for all those seeking relaxation from near and far. The natural lake offers bathing fun on around 17 hectares of water surface until autumn, as the water temperature averages 27 degrees Celsius. In addition to the usual water sports, such as swimming or fishing, tennis or volleyball can also be played at the lake, or the beautiful riverside landscape can be explored by bike. Among other things, a campsite is also connected to the Röcksee. Dogs must be kept on a leash and are not allowed to swim. Fishing at Röcksee The gravel pond of the Röck family is very popular among fishermen; day and annual fishing permits are available here. Carp, grass carp, pike, and zander can be found in the lake. Around the Röcksee, not far from the Röcksee, stands the Murturm in Gosdorf near Mureck. A visit to the lake can be perfectly combined with a short walk, as you can be there in about 30 minutes. In addition to the Murturm, the well-known Murecker Schiffsmühle (ship mill) with an attached restaurant can also be found.
