Riversurfen Salzach

Riversurfing is a sport that, despite its English name, is possible on Salzburger's flowing waters. Next to the Bürgerausee on the Salzach river, there is a surfing wave. The "Kuchler Schwall" is a hotspot for riversurfers and also an experience for spectators. Whether in summer or winter, fun sport enthusiasts ride the wave in any weather. What is needed: a board, a wetsuit, a helmet, and many hours of practice and perseverance.
