Risschloss

The Risschloss is located above Flaurling near the parish church at the edge of the forest. Originally, the castle was a hunting lodge of Duke Sigmund. He gifted the estate to parish priest Sigmund Ris in 1500. The priest expanded the building with a chapel and library, which still exist today. In the 18th century, a remarkable baroque parish garden with ascending terraces was created. However, the Risschloss can only be viewed from the outside.
