The Reptile Zoo in Forchtenstein, directly opposite Forchtenstein Castle, offers experiences of a different kind. Reptiles from all over the world can be admired here. From parrots to the green anaconda, to the inland taipan (most venomous snake in the world) and the king cobra (largest venomous snake in the world), as well as crocodiles and lizards. There is a breeding and rearing station here. Special zookeeper-themed tours take place on Sundays at 10:45 AM. Throughout the year there are numerous family events as well as regularly changing thematic focuses and special exhibitions, so a repeated visit to the Reptile Zoo is always worthwhile. And a specially furnished party room for children's birthday parties in the Reptile Zoo awaits little party guests.
