Horse experience for children aged 4-12. Equine-assisted pedagogical care. Duration 60 min. During equine-assisted pedagogical care, children are looked after in a relaxed setting that offers a lot of freedom yet a clear structure. Appreciation, play, and humor are at the forefront. Through various exercises on the horse, elementary basic skills such as rhythm, balance, and coordination are promoted. Group dynamic processes support the children in being considerate of each other. Content of the hour: getting to know each other, horse care, horse body language, building a relationship with the animal, showing consideration, helping each other, fine motor skills, leading the horse, riding and movement on the horse, depending on group size, group dynamic games on the ground and on the horse. Playful and well-guided approach to independent and safe interaction with the living creature and partner horse, as well as experience-based learning of associated horse knowledge. Movement, play, and creative activities in nature with and on the horse.
