The chapel shrine stands about 50 meters above the Zirmbar at Fanningberg, under a large Swiss pine (Zirbe). It is built of masonry, with its front face made of natural stones, while the rest of the chapel is plastered and painted white. The gabled roof, covered with larch shingles, extends far over the front and forms a covered prayer space. Inside, there is a bench. The roof truss is supported by two peeled tree trunks. In the gable apex, a bell is attached. The niche opening, which is rounded-arch shaped, is secured with a rod grille. The center of the niche features a carved Christ figure, embedded in a twisted Swiss pine trunk. To the right, there is a reverse glass picture of Saint Leonard, and to the left, a reverse glass painting depicting Saint Ulrich.
