Pfarrkirche Wildermieming

The late Gothic Roman Catholic parish church of St. Nikolaus was first mentioned in a document in 1352. The simple exterior building under a steep gabled roof has a nave and a recessed, three-sided choir with a continuous plinth. On the south side of the tower, a fresco depicting St. Christopher can be seen. To the east, a remnant of a fresco of the fifth Station of the Cross from the second half of the 18th century is preserved. The southern gable front has round-arch windows and an oculus in the gable. There you can see a painted sundial from the year 1795. After a fire in 1876, the church underwent a Neo-Romanesque redesign. The church and the cemetery are listed buildings and can be found in the village center of Wildermieming.
