Name: Vorchdorf Parish Church Description: After the Hungarian invasions, it was rebuilt in Gothic style at its current location and consecrated in 1507 by Auxiliary Bishop Bernhard of Passau. Martin Resch, who was parish priest of Vorchdorf from 1668 to 1704 and subsequently abbot of Kremsmünster, began the Baroque transformation, which extended into the last quarter of the 18th century. At that time, the church served as the pilgrimage church "Maria Trost im Thale".
