Pfarrkirche Voldöpp

Kramsach, Tyrol

At its core a late Gothic building, baroque-style in the early 18th century. Documented in 1262, the parish church has a two-story sacristy on the south side of the choir. The prominent west tower with pointed arched sound openings, a pointed spire, and a vestibule on the ground floor of the tower was built in 1859 in place of a north tower. The east window with late Gothic tracery dates to around 1480. On the south side, in the plinth, there is an engraved coat of arms with a hammer and iron (miners). Interesting architectural accents are the baroque west gallery on marble columns, the Rococo pulpit from 1760, and the stucco work and paintings in medallions from 1954. The image of Mary with a halo and the ceiling paintings in the cemetery chapel are also very worth seeing.
