Feldkirchen in Kärnten / Maltschacher See, Carinthia
The Parish Church of Saint James the Elder stands on the so-called Jakobsfelsen, a spur of the Gerlitzen ridge. The church was first mentioned between 1050 and 1065. Southwest of the church, on the crowned cone, there is a partially eroded round tower with some battlements. Additionally, numerous spolia from Roman-era tomb structures can be found in the masonry of the church and the fortifications. On the southern exterior wall, there is a relief with plant motifs as well as a relief depicting a dancing nymph.
