Kematen, Tyrol
The church of St. Viktor, once a Romanesque building, burned down around 1400 and was adorned with Gothic frescoes during its reconstruction. After about 300 years, it was set on fire again. During its restoration around 1750, St. Viktor was enlarged and baroque-ized. The tower received a new design, changing from a pointed spire to an onion dome. What makes it special: It is one of the few in all of Tyrol that is equipped with three onion domes.
