Only individual pieces of the baroque church furnishings remain, which can be viewed in the local history museum. Construction of the current parish church began in 1892 according to plans by master builder Ferdinand Ranggetiner. The then only 380 inhabitants of Hollersbach actively helped to realize this project. By October 1893, the church, built in the neo-Romanesque style, could be put into use, and a year later, it was solemnly consecrated by Archbishop Cardinal Haller of Salzburg. The tower seen today was only built in 1900, after the old Gothic tower was modified into a slimmer, taller spire with a gabled roof. An interior renovation in 1938 was followed by a comprehensive renovation from 1987 to 1990, giving the church its current appearance.
