The curacy church of St. Katharina is a Roman Catholic church in Marul. Its beginnings date back to around 1670 as a wayside shrine, which was converted into a Chapel of Our Lady in 1687. The chapel was elevated to a local chaplaincy around 1738, and the new construction of a church took place in 1756. The church tower was added a year later. In addition to a wooden spring ceiling in the nave, the church also has stained glass windows in the choir and tabernacle based on a design by Mila Bjelik-Stöhr from 1948. Käthe Sinz designed the wooden reliefs Annunciation and Holy Family in 1950 and 1952. The organ dates from 1901 by organ builder Anton Behmann.
