Hippach, Tyrol
The parish church, consecrated to Saints Ingenuin and Albuin, is essentially a new building from 1699 to 1701 by Gallus Apeller from Innsbruck. The tower with its pointed spire and tracery windows (15th century) from the former Gothic church still remains, as well as a round-arched portal made of tuff stone on the sacristy facade and the sacristy door decorated with iron lily bands. The church is a typical early Baroque building by Apeller with a three-bay nave, transept with barrel-vaulted side chapels, and a two-bay, semi-circular choir. The exterior is unarticulated; only the main portal has two columns and a triangular gable with acanthus stucco.
