Pfarrkirche Großraming

The church consists of a late Gothic single-nave and four-bay longhouse with a net rib vault. In 1936, it was extended by one bay to the west. The Baroque choir from 1691 is two-bay and semi-elliptically closed. In the choir are smoothed barrel vaults with remarkable frescoes by Bartholomäus Altomonte from 1759. To the south, a church tower from 1515 with a Baroque helmet from 1739 is attached to the longhouse. The high altar was erected in 1691 according to documents and fundamentally altered and more richly decorated in 1759. Johann Karl von Reslfeld painted the high altar painting in 1691. The sculptures probably come from Marian Rittinger. The side altar with a newer Sacred Heart statue and the pulpit were erected in 1736. The altar in the adjoining southern chapel was created at the same time. In the choir stands a statue of Saint Florian from 1743. The baptismal font is Gothic. The bell, cast in 1522, is rarely beautiful and richly decorated.
