Pfarrkirche Brandenberg zum hl. Georg

The first church in Brandenberg was built in the 11th century, but in terms of pastoral care it still belonged to the original parish of Breitenbach. This only changed in 1891, when Brandenberg, along with other places such as Steinberg, was appointed its own parish. Around 1400, a new church had been built, but it was already demolished around 1677 to make way for the current church. The 50 m high Gothic tower and the side portal were retained. The rest of the building was rebuilt in the Baroque style.
