Pestkapelle Rum

Pestkapelle RumSouthwest of the village, below the Rum-Dorf school, the simple building of the "Maria Heimsuchung" Plague Chapel nestles in the fields.It was probably built in the 17th century in memory of the plague years 1611 and 1612, as the Black Death also raged in Rum at that time. The plague cemetery was probably in the area of the current Plague Chapel.
