Passionsspielhaus

The Passionsspielhaus in the Passion Play village of Erl is one of the most striking buildings in the Kufsteinerland region. Originally, it was intended for the Passion Plays, which take place every six years. Since 1989, however, the unique building has also been used for the Tiroler Festspiele Erl. Up to 1500 people can attend the various high-caliber cultural events. Those interested also have the opportunity to take a look behind the scenes of the Passionsspielhaus in Erl. Guided tours are possible before and after events or by appointment. The tours are free of charge and last approximately one hour.
