Panoramablick Pfarrkirchen

The panoramic view is a viewing platform on a small hill, a five-minute walk from the village of Pfarrkirchen! In clear weather, 47 church towers can be seen from the panoramic view. The distant view extends from the Linzerwald over the Alpine foothills to the northern Limestone Alps from Schneeberg in Lower Austria over the Dachstein to the Zugspitze in Bavaria. The hiking trail "Panoramaweg" connects the viewing platform. The new Viscope experience telescope blends additional information into the viewer's field of vision. For example, when looking through it, you get information about which mountain you are currently looking at, which village is currently visible in the respective image. For a 1 Euro coin, the view can be enjoyed through the Viscope for 2 minutes.
