Panoramabahn

The Panoramabahn in Kaprun lives up to its name. Few other cable cars offer such a spectacular view of the surrounding Alpine landscape and the turquoise Zeller See. The cable car connects the valley station in the Kitzsteinhorn ski area with the mountain station at 1,965 meters above sea level and is an ideal starting point for excursions towards the glacier, both in summer and winter, for nature lovers and sports enthusiasts. At Langwied, skiers and hikers transfer to the Gletscherjet 2. However, it is not necessary to go further uphill: directly at the mountain station of the Panoramabahn, the rustic Häuslalm invites you to enjoy traditional delicacies and refreshing drinks.
