Lechaschau, Tyrol
The over 400-year-old Ottilienkapelle is a protected monument and one of the most beautiful meadow chapels in Tyrol. Saint Ottilie is considered the patron saint of the blind and visually impaired. The chapel has a shingle-covered gabled roof with a ridge turret and features Gothicizing tracery windows on the long walls. The altarpiece from 1760 is by the Reutte Baroque painter Paul Zeiller. The flat ceiling inside is adorned with Christ and Mary monograms, and the walls are decorated with stencil painting, which shows many angels in addition to decorative elements.
