Orter Bucht

A short distance from Gmunden town center, walkers will find an extraordinary piece of nature in the Orter Bucht nature reserve. Reed forests grow directly on the lakeshore. This is adjoined by a wet meadow area in the shore zone. Willows grow here sporadically. Wet areas and in places even small water basins appear repeatedly in the meadows.
