Obstlehrweg Pomarium

POMARIUM Commercial fruit cultivation has been documented in the Pinzgau for over 150 years, with Bramberg playing a prominent role in the cultivation of 'old varieties' such as Zwiebler, Borsdorfer, Weinling, and Spitzling. The Pomarium at Reitlbauern in Wenns, in this form and size, is a unique heritage of this tradition in Oberpinzgau. This orchard, valuable both ecologically and aesthetically, has preserved the old varieties; planting new trees has expanded the garden's design and increased the diversity of the harvest. The site is accessible year-round, and various improvements and updated information panels about breeders, cultivation, trees, and fruits make a visit an educational experience.
