Objekt Alois-Grogger-Gasse 10

The street art artist Frankie Strand from Great Britain sprayed the building with the bluish motif "Leafy Sea Dragon" as part of the Future Icons Festival 2018. The mural was created as part of the International Youth Culture Festival Styria 2018, organized by the Future Icons association under the direction and artistic leadership of Norbert Lipp. However, during the festival, only the two "cantilevered" parts on the 2nd floor (towards Doktor-Hermann-Hornung-Gasse) of the house at Alois-Grogger-Gasse 10 were sprayed by the artist. Approximately one year later, the connecting part from the ground floor to the roof, between the two cantilevered parts of the 2nd floor and the entire middle part, was privately commissioned from the artist by the homeowners Dr. Vatter and Dr. Kovac and also privately financed.
