The Noriker Horse Museum is located in the historic Samerstall in the center of Niedernsill. The exhibition shows how the Noriker horse breed has developed over the centuries and what roles Noriker horses used to play in agriculture, trade, and transportation. Other topics include identification features, breeding, feeding, body language, and the transition from workhorse to leisure horse. The origin of the name, which is traced back to the Roman province of Noricum, is also discussed in the exhibition. In the same building, there is the dialect archive, which can be visited by appointment.
