Naturschutzgebiet Kreuzberg in Weyer

Hikers who tackle the ascent to the "three crosses" from Weyer walk through mixed forests dominated by the common beech. While this tree, which is actually characteristic of native forests, has been replaced in many places by fast-growing spruces, it still dominates the forest here on the Kreuzberg. However, the beeches are not the only botanical special feature of this nature reserve.
