It provides insights into 400 million years of Styrian (Steiermark) Earth history and the fascinating evolution of various living beings. The Naturkundemuseum houses extensive natural history collections with focuses on botany & mycology, geology & paleontology, mineralogy, and zoology, primarily related to Styria. The permanent exhibition offers an exciting walk through Earth's history and showcases the biological diversity right on our doorstep.
