Our favorite spot: The view of the rocks of the petrified lovers at Berglsteinersee. Berglsteinersee captivates with its idyllic location in the forest. You can take wonderful walks around the lake. According to legend, the lake unites a pair of lovers in its still water, which can be seen as rocks. Both lakes can be combined in a leisurely walk from the Reintalersee car park. And Berglsteinersee is one of our favorite places in Alpbachtal. Tour Tips: A leisurely hike or a walk to the lake is an unforgettable experience. The Leichter Lernen Weg is a forest path starting from the Reintalersee-Ost car park and leads through the forest in approx. 30 minutes to the lake. Once there, it is also a good idea to walk a round around the lake. A winter walk in the forest is unsurpassed in romance. Berglsteinersee is one of those places that not only shine in good weather, but also captivate visitors with its mystical appearance on rainy days. Arrival: Reintalersee-Ost car park: 30-minute walk on the Leichter Lernen forest path to the lake.Oberberg / Salberg car park: Past the Reintalersee-Ost car park, 3 km towards Breitenbach. In the district of Haus, turn left up, past the chapel, follow the signs for Berglsteinersee. From there it is a 10-minute walk to the lake.
