Naturdenkmal "Beim Juden"

According to the story, a Jewish traveler met his end here. Leaning against a linden tree, which has since fallen and served as a boundary tree, he was found frozen to death. Since then, the spot has been called "Beim Juden". The path past this linden tree formerly served as a connecting route over the Leithagebirge. The paths were used in every season, and so it could happen that people lost their way in bad weather or harsh winters and died.
