Mystischer Hemmaberg - Kraftort Südkärntens

The mystical Hemmaberg - place of power in Southern Carinthia The Hemmaberg (842 meters) is part of the Karawanken foothills and is located in the Jauntal in the municipality of Globasnitz. The elevation was formed in the Tertiary period twelve to 14 million years ago. The name Hemmaberg comes from Saint Hemma of Gurk. In the Middle Ages, a pilgrimage church was built on the summit of the Hemmaberg.
