Large objects are exhibited in the 125-year-old barn, which is architecturally extremely remarkable in its construction, such as heavy threshing machines, various scythes, sickles and flails, as well as original hay, milk and coal cribs. These devices are embedded in a breathtaking museum architecture consisting of an unprecedented ensemble of glass and wood. The history of the Kammern population is specifically explored in the annex, the Steinrisserhaus. This provides insights into the development of the market town and highlights Kammern's important role in raw material extraction. The museum farm is completed by a special exhibition on 500 million years of Earth's history. 400 exhibited fossils (shells, corals, shark teeth and much more) reflect the development of living beings on our planet. They are impressive documents of our evolution.
