The museum village represents 500 years of history. Starting from the info center, visitors can explore four original knife-maker houses along a 1.5 km path; three of them are workshops and one object is designed as a museum. The path/road can be covered on foot, by bike, or by car. Once, 17 hammers were audibly at work here, and 45 different models were produced in laborious steps. Today, you can discover the witnesses of this glorious past over 1.5 kilometers and feel the power of fire, water, wood, and steel that shaped this valley! Hike through the production process from one living workshop to the next and, at the end, make your own Feitel (pocket knife). Some of the objects are wheelchair accessible.
