The Museum HochQuellenWasser in Wildalpen presents itself as interactive, multimedia, and child-friendly. Here you can learn everything about the construction and history of the II. Vienna High-Spring Water Pipeline. 60% of Vienna's tap water flows from the Hochschwab region to the federal capital. In conjunction with a visit to the museum, the Kläfferquelle can also be visited. The entire Museum HochQuellenWasser has been designed to be barrier-free. Special exhibition "The Wildalpen Rockfall" The new exhibition combines information and experience: With virtual reality, visitors can experience a rockfall up close. Around 80,000 Euros were invested to make the exhibition modern and interactive. The project was supported by the Museum Association, the City of Vienna Department of Vienna Water, and numerous craft businesses in the region.The exhibition is accompanied by the picture exhibition "From Hinterwildalpen to Fachwerk – A Hike in Old and New Views". The special exhibition is accessible to visitors as part of a normal museum visit until the end of October.
