Museum Grünes Haus

Reutte, Tyrol

ausstellungmuseumstour

The "Museum im Grünen Haus" in the center of Reutte is one of the most stately buildings in our town. It was probably built in the 16th century by a wealthy Reutte citizen as a residence. The beautiful paintings inside the house date from this period. Reuttener painter Johann Jakob Zeiller designed the building's facade in 1779. The vibrant green color gives the house its name. The museum is a proud four-time recipient of the Tyrolean Museum Award as well as the Austrian Museum Quality Seal. Visit us to see our current special exhibitions. During the off-season, we also offer a noteworthy permanent exhibition.
