Mountaincart Track Fun and repeat rides are guaranteed Right at the mountain station, you get into the right gear: the winding Mountaincart track is a truly exciting summer experience. Over approximately 4 kilometers to the middle station (1,624 meters above sea level), the all-terrain, three-wheeled carts provide the right drive. A huge fun that you won't get enough of – repeat rides are guaranteed! There are over 75 Mountaincarts available in four different sizes (S, M, L, XL). The equipment is loaded into cabins by our staff at the middle station and transported back up the mountain. This means, even on busy days, there are no or only short waiting times. Opening hours: The track is open during the operating hours of the Smaragdbahn! Attention: - Small children under 4 years old are not allowed to ride the Mountaincarts for safety reasons. - Children between 4 and 9 years old can ride together with an adult. - From 10 years old and a minimum height of 150 cm, children are allowed to steer a Mountaincart themselves – in the presence of an adult supervisor. - Helmets are mandatory – a helmet is included in the fare on loan. - Suits can be rented for a small fee.
