The Moosberglift in Weißenbach am Lech has been in operation since 1972 and is managed by clubs and a citizens' initiative. Not only local youth made their first turns in the snow on the Moosberg. The lift provides access to an easy, 650-meter-long slope for skiing. The valley station is at 858 meters and the mountain station at 1,050 meters. Thus, both beginners and advanced skiers can carve down the natural snow slope for about 192 meters in altitude. The umbrella bar next to the lift, which is open from 11:30 AM during lift operation, offers the opportunity to warm up after skiing.
